Odoo

7.2/10

Odoo is an open-source business suite whose CRM app handles leads, pipelines, calling, and reporting for small and mid-sized companies, with ERP modules available alongside it.

Data last updated November 2026 · Our methodology

Overview

Odoo is a Belgian modular business suite. Its CRM app sits next to sales, invoicing, inventory, helpdesk, marketing, and project apps that all share one database. The CRM covers lead capture from email gateways, website forms, and live chat. It also offers predictive lead scoring, rule-based lead assignment by quota, deduplication, lead mining, and enrichment from an email address or phone number. Deals move through a drag-and-drop pipeline with stages for each team. VoIP calling logs calls automatically, and dashboards include cohort analysis. Quotes can be created straight from opportunities, and the Inventory and Email Marketing apps connect natively, which is the main reason teams pick it over a standalone CRM. Pricing is per user. One App Free gives a single app such as CRM to unlimited users at no cost. Standard unlocks all apps on Odoo Online. Custom adds Odoo Studio, multi-company, the external API, AI features, and the option to host on Odoo.sh or on-premise. Odoo's site shows a first-year discount on initial users, and prices vary by country. SMS credits, lead-generation credits, implementation work, and Odoo.sh hosting cost extra. A free open-source Community edition can be self-hosted. Its main limitation is complexity. Reviewers say setup takes time, and the interface can overwhelm new users. Many companies need a partner or in-house staff to configure it, and opinions on documentation and support quality are mixed.
