Overview
Vivid Business is the business banking platform from Vivid Money, a Berlin fintech founded in 2019. It launched for companies in January 2024, and the account is issued by Vivid Money S.A., an electronic money institution regulated by Luxembourg's CSSF, so it is not a bank. The account gives each team member virtual and physical cards and offers unlimited sub-accounts with their own IBANs, plus EUR, USD and GBP balances. It also includes invoicing with card payment acceptance, bookkeeping document uploads, a travel booking tool, brokerage and interest on idle cash. Promotional rates are 4% on EUR for four months and 5% on USD and GBP for five months, then lower rates that depend on the plan. Plans are sold monthly. Companies can choose Free Start at 0 euros, Basic at 6.90 euros or Pro at 18.90 euros. Larger organisations can choose Enterprise at 79 euros or Enterprise+ at 249 euros, which add custom roles, payment approval flows with up to three steps, and spending budgets. Annual billing saves up to 22 to 24% depending on the plan group. Fees for card acceptance, ATM withdrawals, FX and SWIFT transfers drop on higher tiers. Accounting integrations, including DATEV, are included on every plan, which makes the product a good fit for German-speaking SMEs. Vivid is a payments and banking layer, not an accounting system: it has no general ledger or financial statements, so you still need separate bookkeeping software. Its main drawback is risk around account freezes. Several Trustpilot reviewers in 2026 describe funds blocked for weeks with little explanation, and a Luxembourg IBAN can occasionally cause problems with direct debits.
Our Rating
Who Vivid Business is best for
Good fit
There is a free plan and dedicated freelancer plans, with invoicing and card acceptance included.
Cheap Basic and Pro tiers include unlimited team members, cards and accounting integrations.
Interest on idle cash and free team cards suit young companies, but you cannot open an account to deposit share capital when forming a company.
Less suited
The Enterprise tiers add custom roles, approval flows and budgets, but the platform is still an e-money account.
