Overview
LS Compta is the online chartered accounting firm run by the Legalstart group. It is registered with the French Ordre des experts-comptables and has offices in Paris and Bordeaux. It is a service with software included, not a pure software product. Each client gets a dedicated accountant employed in France, who handles bookkeeping, VAT returns, corporate tax, CFE, the liasse fiscale and the annual accounts. Clients work in a Pennylane client space, which offers bank synchronization, invoicing, expense reports and cash tracking. Payroll payslips and liquidation accounts are optional extras. LS Compta also offers company formation for SAS, SARL, SCI, LMNP and similar structures, and support during tax audits. It says it serves more than 3,000 companies, mostly young micro-businesses. Pricing is a monthly plan with no commitment. The official site lists Basique from 0 euros, Essentiel from 79 euros and Premium from 149 euros, all excluding VAT. Legalstart and third-party guides from late 2026 instead list entry prices by company type: 49 euros for SCI and LMNP, 79 euros for holdings, 99 euros for freelancers and very small businesses, and 139 euros for high-volume companies. The final price is set by quote and depends on the number of transactions. The only software integration it names is Pennylane. Its main limitation is fit: guides say it suits simple accounting for companies with fewer than about 10 employees. Some reviewers report long turnaround times, missed deadlines and cancellation friction.
