Overview
Finom is a digital business account sold to freelancers, sole traders and small and medium-sized companies in several EU countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. Alongside the account it gives you physical and virtual cards that work with Apple Pay and Google Pay. There are also invoicing tools: invoices can be sent by email or messenger with a one-click payment link and automatic reminders for overdue payments. Team managers can issue cards to employees, set limits on them and top them up. Staff photograph receipts in the app, and transaction data can be exported in bulk for an accountant or connected to accounting software such as Sage, Odoo and NetSuite. Other features include multi-banking connections for a single cash view, cashback of up to 3 percent on card spend, and savings interest that rises with the plan tier. Pricing is a monthly subscription with a free allowance of transaction volume, and annual billing is cheaper. Solo is free, Basic costs 21 euros a month, Smart 40, Pro 149 and Grow 339, or 17, 34, 119 and 249 euros a month when billed yearly. Higher tiers add users, cards and transaction volume, and lower per-transaction fees above the allowance. Corporate and enterprise arrangements can also be negotiated. The main limitations are that Finom is not a full general ledger, it has no SWIFT payments, and users report sudden account freezes from automated compliance checks with little explanation.

- Employee cards can be issued, limited and topped up in the app, and staff capture receipts by photo.
- Card spend earns cashback of up to 3%, and savings interest rises with the plan tier.
- Connects to accounting tools including Sage, Odoo and NetSuite, and supports multi-bank connections.
Cons
- There are no SWIFT payments, so international transfers outside SEPA need another account.
- Users report sudden account freezes in 2026, with funds held and little explanation from Finom.
- It is not a full accounting ledger, so most businesses still need separate bookkeeping software.
- Fees for transaction volume, foreign exchange and ATM use can add up on the lower tiers.
