6.2/10Digits is an AI-driven general ledger that books, reconciles and reports for US small businesses, startups and the accounting firms that serve them.

Overview
Digits sells what it calls an Autonomous General Ledger. AI agents categorize bank and card transactions, reconcile accounts and keep a live P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement up to date. Digits says the models were trained on more than $825 billion of small-business transactions and that they book over 90 percent of entries automatically. Entries the system is unsure about go to an Inbox, where the owner or their accountant reviews them. All plans include bill pay with OCR and approvals, invoicing with payment collection, vendor and customer tracking, roles and permissions, document storage (Vault), a mobile app, and a developer API with an MCP server. Pricing is a flat monthly fee per business with no per-seat charges. Essentials costs $65 a month and Core costs $100 a month; Core adds department and location tracking and automated schedules. A Pro plan at $250 a month, which adds custom reports, custom dashboards and budget vs actuals, is listed as coming soon. You can run unlimited entities under one login: each additional entity is free up to 250 transactions a year and then starts at $35 a month. Accounting firms are billed per client, can get partner discounts, and get free firm books. Banks and cards connect through Plaid, which covers more than 12,000 institutions, and there are native connections to Mercury, Ramp, Gusto, BILL, Stripe and Arc. The product suits US service and software businesses with fairly simple books. It does not track inventory, offers no native payroll, and its app ecosystem is smaller than those of QuickBooks or Xero. Complex accruals still need manual work.
