Data last updated November 2026 · Our methodology
Overview
TimeCamp records time with timers, manual timesheets and automatic tracking. The automatic tracker logs the apps, websites and window titles a person works in and turns that activity into time entries. Around this sits a light project layer: tasks and subtasks, project templates, budgets and estimates, billable hours, billing rates, invoicing and profitability reports. The higher plans add attendance, time-off, overtime and timesheet approvals. It suits agencies, consultancies and freelancers who bill by the hour and need to know whether projects make money. It is not a full work-management platform, so teams that plan their work in boards or Gantt charts usually connect TimeCamp to another project tool. The Free plan covers unlimited users and projects. The paid plans are priced per user: Starter, Premium and Ultimate cost 3.99, 6.99 and 9.99 USD a month on annual billing, and 5.49, 9.99 and 13.99 USD on monthly billing. Enterprise is custom-quoted and adds self-hosting, an audit log and user directory sync. The AI Time Tracker is billed separately by usage. The integrations page lists about 87 entries, including Asana, ClickUp, monday.com, Jira, Trello, Slack, Microsoft Teams, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Salesforce, Power BI and Zapier. Note that Premium allows only one integration, and Ultimate is needed for unlimited integrations. The main drawbacks are reports of bugs and instability, a weaker mobile app, and important features such as screenshots, approvals and SSO being kept for the Ultimate plan.

Less suited
