Stackby

6.8/10

Stackby is a no-code spreadsheet-database for small teams to organize projects, connect to outside APIs, and automate workflows without writing code.

Data last updated November 2026 · Our methodology

Overview

Stackby combines a spreadsheet grid with a relational database. Teams build tables, which it calls stacks, using linked records, formulas, attachments and more than 30 column types. They can then view the same data as a Kanban board, calendar, timeline, form or other layout. Its main difference from tools like Airtable is the API connector column. This column pulls data from services such as Meta Ads, YouTube and Google Analytics straight into rows and can refresh it on a schedule, which suits marketing and agency teams that build reports. Other features include no-code automations, AI fields that use OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini models, interfaces with a page designer, and external portals. A large template library helps teams get started. Integrations include Zapier, Make, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Pabbly Connect, Integrately and an Airtable import. Pricing is charged per editor, and read-only guests are free. The Free plan covers up to 5 editors and 1,500 rows per stack. Paid tiers cost $9, $18 and $35 per user on monthly billing, or $4.20, $8.30 and $12.50 per user per month on annual billing, with higher row, storage, automation and API-run limits at each step. Enterprise pricing is custom, and portals for external guests cost extra. Stackby is a small company of roughly 20 employees. Reviewers mention occasional slow loading and a mobile app with fewer features than the desktop version. Stackby also does not publish compliance certifications such as SOC 2, and the pricing page contradicts itself on some Enterprise limits.
