Data last updated November 2026 · Our methodology
Overview
Rocketlane is project management built for teams that deliver work to customers, such as SaaS implementation, onboarding and professional services groups. Each project can have a branded customer portal. Clients log in with a magic link, see the project plan, give approvals and answer CSAT surveys at milestones. Internal teams plan the work in Gantt, list or Kanban views. They also get templates, sprints and backlogs, time tracking with timesheet approvals, and reports on project and people performance. The higher tiers turn it into a full PSA tool. Premium adds resource management with capacity and utilization tracking, plus budgeting, rate cards, margins, invoicing and revenue recognition. Enterprise adds custom reports, unified dashboards, a skills matrix, multi-currency support, RBAC and SAML. Pricing is per team member and billed annually, with a five-seat minimum. Standard costs 49 USD a month per member and Premium costs 69 USD. Enterprise is quoted. Customer members and projects are unlimited on every plan. AI Fills costs 29 USD per user per month extra, and the Nitro AI agents are sold through sales. Standard includes integrations with HubSpot, Jira, Slack, Zapier and Google and Outlook calendars, plus API access. Salesforce and Workato need Premium, and Snowflake needs Enterprise. The main drawbacks are cost and depth. The five-seat minimum and the features locked to higher tiers make it expensive for small teams. Some reviewers mention slowdowns on large portfolios and a learning curve when setting it up.
Our Rating
Who Rocketlane is best for
Good fit
Rate cards, margins, invoicing and resource management are built for teams that bill for professional services.
TechCrunch reports its target customers are mid-market firms with services teams of 150 to 2,000 people.
Client portals and billing suit agencies that deliver client projects.
The Enterprise tier adds SAML, RBAC, multi-currency support and Snowflake, but its financial depth trails ERP-native PSA tools.
Less suited
It suits B2B SaaS startups that run onboarding, but the five-seat minimum and annual billing add to the cost.
The five-seat minimum and the features locked to higher tiers make the entry cost high for small teams.
