Overview

Stackfield is a collaboration suite from Stackfield GmbH in Munich. It bundles team chat, polls, tasks, projects, list, Kanban and Gantt views, milestones, a calendar, file storage, wiki pages and documents, and audio and video conferencing into workspaces called rooms. Its main selling point is data protection. Data is hosted in Germany, end-to-end encryption is available, and higher tiers add IP whitelisting, enforced two-factor authentication, SSO and compliance confirmations. That makes it popular with law firms, public-sector bodies, banks and other privacy-sensitive organisations in German-speaking Europe. Pricing is per user per month in euros across four plans. Starter is 9 euros and is capped at 10 users and 3 rooms. Business is 14, Premium is 18 and Enterprise is 28. The pricing page offers a 17 percent saving on yearly billing but does not show monthly-billing rates in its text. Premium adds portfolios, PERT charts, whiteboards, unlimited external users and conferencing. Enterprise adds SSO, API provisioning and custom modules. Paid add-ons cover AI writing help, Office co-editing, public-sector contracts and professional-secrecy agreements, and there is an on-premise option. There is a 14-day trial with no credit card. Integrations are the main weakness. Beyond an API and webhooks that can be wired up through Zapier or IFTTT, native connectors are thin, and reviewers ask for links to Slack, Asana, Microsoft Office and Google. The interface is only in English and German.
