Overview
Trendspek is a Sydney-based platform for owners of critical infrastructure such as ports, energy facilities, jetties and telecommunications networks. It takes data captured by drones, robotics, underwater ROVs and handheld devices and turns it into engineering-grade 3D models. Engineers can then measure, mark up and tag defects directly on the model. The vendor calls the product a Structural Lifecycle Management System. Each asset gets one record that holds its inspection history, audit trail, defect classifications, generated reports, remediation scopes, capital works plans and change tracking over time. Photogrammetry, lidar, thermal and BIM datasets can be overlaid and compared. A newer Autodetect AI stage flags likely defects and changes between captures, and engineers make the final call. Pricing is per site and depends on the asset's size and complexity. There are two plans, Foundation and SLMS, and neither publishes a price. Every plan includes unlimited users with no per-user fees, plus SSO, MFA, role-based access and API access. Processing of new captures is charged separately. Paid add-ons cover ERP and CMMS connectors, private cloud hosting, custom AI models and advisory services. The platform is built on Bentley iTwin and Cesium. It connects to CMMS, ERP and BI tools, and it holds ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II certifications. Named customers include Chevron, Woodside, NSW Ports and the Port of Rotterdam. Its main limitation is that it is a structural inspection record, not a full maintenance system. Work orders and spare parts stay in a connected CMMS, and buyers need a consultation and pilot before they get a quote.
Our Rating
Who Trendspek is best for
Good fit
Customers include Chevron, Woodside, Suncor and Grain LNG, and their energy facilities are a core use case.
Engineers measure and mark up defects on 3D models, and the vendor runs a partner pathway for engineering firms.
It offers SSO, private cloud, ISO and SOC 2 certifications, and portfolio dashboards for large asset owners.
It is used on critical infrastructure such as telecom networks and ports.
Less suited
Capture providers have a partner pathway and deliver drone data into owners' records.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Unlimited users on every plan, so contractors and stakeholders can be added without per-seat fees
- Overlays and compares photogrammetry, lidar, thermal and BIM data on one 3D asset record
- Strong security credentials, with ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 Type II, plus SSO, MFA and private cloud options
- Large named customers report results, such as NSW Ports cutting the cost of a jetty inspection by two-thirds
- The asset owner keeps the inspection history, whichever contractor did the capture
Cons
- No public prices, so a quote requires a consultation and pilot
- Processing of new captures is billed separately from the plan
- Not a full CMMS: work orders and spare parts depend on external integrations
- Few independent user reviews are available on the major review sites

Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing is per site and scaled to each asset's size and complexity. Users are unlimited with no per-user fees. Processing of new captures is charged separately, and the published plans list no dollar prices.
There is no self-serve trial. The process starts with a 40-minute consultation, followed by a paid pilot that typically runs a few weeks.
It holds ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 9001. It also offers SSO, MFA, role-based access and private cloud hosting.
Yes. Connectors to ERP, CMMS, asset registers and BI tools are available as add-ons, and API access comes with every plan.
Drone photogrammetry, lidar, thermal, BIM, robotics and underwater ROV data. The full range of formats is on the SLMS plan.
