Level AI is a contact center AI platform that offers automated quality assurance, real-time agent assist, virtual agents and voice-of-customer analytics for high-volume support teams.

Data last updated November 2026 · Our methodology

Overview

Level AI sells an AI platform built for customer experience operations in large contact centers. Its modules cover automated quality management, which scores every interaction across channels instead of a small manual sample. Other modules handle real-time agent assist, AI virtual agents and AI workers, voice-of-the-customer insights, Analytics 360 reporting, screen recording, and an Agent GPT assistant. The company runs the platform on seven task-specific models of its own. It says these cost less and respond faster than general-purpose large language models, but those are vendor claims. Named customers include Vistaprint, Smartsheet, Extra Space Storage, Gusto and Chime. Most are mid-market and enterprise contact centers and BPOs in healthcare, financial services and retail. Pricing is not published. Buyers have to book a demo and negotiate a custom contract, and one competitor's article reports a figure of about 185 USD per agent per month that has not been verified. The platform connects to contact center and CRM systems including Genesys, Five9, NICE and Salesforce, and the vendor says it has more than 40 integrations. Security is a strength. The vendor lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HITRUST and HIPAA, along with SSO, SCIM and PII redaction before AI processing. On November 5, 2026, Five9 agreed to acquire Level AI for about 325 million USD. Buyers should ask how the product roadmap and independent availability will change once the deal closes. The main limitations are opaque pricing and a narrow focus on contact centers. Level AI is not a general AI tool, and some users report that its topic scoring has accuracy gaps.

Who Level AI is best for

Good fit

  • The product is built for contact center QA, agent assist and support automation.

  • It targets high-volume enterprise contact centers and has strong compliance credentials.

  • It has PCI DSS compliance and counts financial services clients such as Chime.

  • The vendor offers HIPAA BAAs and HITRUST and names Fortune 500 healthcare clients.

  • Directory sources list mid-market BPOs and in-house contact centers as target users.

Less suited

  • Custom enterprise pricing and a contact center focus make it a poor fit for small teams.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Automated QA scores every interaction rather than the small manual sample supervisors usually review.
  • Security credentials are broad: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HITRUST, HIPAA BAA, SSO and SCIM.
  • PII such as card numbers and SSNs is redacted before AI processing, and sub-processors cannot train on customer data.
  • Native integrations with Genesys, Five9, NICE and Salesforce.
  • Review ratings are strong, around 4.5 out of 5 across about 157 aggregated ratings.

Cons

  • No public pricing, so every deal goes through sales.
  • Some G2 reviewers say it struggles to score multiple topics accurately within one sentence.
  • Narrowly focused on contact centers, so it is not useful as a general AI tool.
  • The pending Five9 acquisition adds uncertainty about the roadmap and standalone availability.
