Overview
Kinsta is a managed WordPress host founded in 2013. Sites run in isolated containers on Google Cloud, and reviewers say Oracle Cloud is also an option. Customers pick from about 30 data centers, and every plan includes Cloudflare integration with a 300-location CDN, edge caching and DDoS filtering. Sites are managed in the MyKinsta dashboard, which covers staging, analytics, logs, backups and support. Daily automatic backups are included, and more frequent backups cost extra. Developers get SSH, SFTP, Git and a REST API that manages sites, environments, backups, caching, domains and DNS. Business plans come in two kinds: single-site plans capped by server bandwidth or by monthly visits, from $35 a month ($30 a month billed annually), and multisite plans from WP 2 at $70 a month up to WP 40 at $450 a month. Agency plans start at $340 a month and Enterprise plans at $500 a month. Kinsta lists extra sites at $30 a month and extra disk at $20 a month per 20GB. The company holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications, and Enterprise customers get a 99.99% uptime SLA. Kinsta suits agencies, marketing teams and businesses whose WordPress sites drive revenue and who want hands-on 24/7 support. Its main drawback is cost. It is much more expensive than shared hosts, its storage allowances are small (10 to 15GB on single-site plans), some plugins are banned, and many users dislike visit-based billing. Kinsta's general application, database and static site hosting has moved to its sister product, Sevalla.

The Enterprise tier comes with a 99.99% SLA, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications and custom terms.
- Marketing Teams8/10
Marketing teams that run WordPress sites get managed updates, staging and analytics in one dashboard.
Developers get SSH, Git, WP-CLI-style tooling and a REST API, but Kinsta itself hosts only WordPress.
