Overview
Hammer Missions is a UK-based platform for inspecting building envelopes, parking structures, bridges, warehouses, and similar assets. It has two parts. The Hammer App plans and flies automated missions on DJI drones, with more than 15 mission types. Hammer Hub is the cloud workspace, where users upload imagery, process it into 2D orthomosaics and 3D models, measure distances, areas, and volumes, annotate defects, and share reports. AI detection flags cracks, corrosion, spalling, and vegetation, and the vendor says it can be trained on other defect types. Thermal imagery processing helps find heat and moisture problems. Imagery from Skydio, Parrot, and Autel drones can be processed but not flown through the app, and the XGRIDS PortalCam handles interior capture. The product suits building science consultancies, facade and roof engineers, and drone service providers who deliver inspection reports to clients. There are three plans: Ascend Pro and Cruise for single users, and Enterprise for teams with roles, permissions, AI analysis, and a geo-located cloud. Hammer does not publish prices. Each plan says Request Pricing, and a 14-day trial is offered. One third-party listing cites a $79 per month starting price, but the vendor has not confirmed it. The main limitations are that only Enterprise includes AI analysis and multi-user access, and that independent user reviews are almost nonexistent, so buyers have little outside evidence to go on.

Who Hammer Missions is best for
Good fit
Flight planning, processing, and shareable client reports are built for drone inspection operators.
Building science and facade engineering firms such as RDH are named users for envelope documentation.
Inspection consultancies can deliver AI-annotated 3D reports to clients.
Less suited
Useful for roof, facade, and parking structure condition surveys, though it is not a construction management tool.
The Enterprise plan adds teams, custom roles, a geo-located cloud, and onboarding.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Covers flight planning, 3D processing, AI defect detection, and reporting in a single workflow for building envelope inspections.
- AI flags cracks, corrosion, spalling, and vegetation, and the vendor says it can be trained on custom defect types.
- Supports DJI flight planning and accepts imagery from Skydio, Parrot, and Autel drones plus interior capture with the XGRIDS PortalCam.
- Cruise adds thermal processing and exports to standard formats such as las, obj, and tiff.
Cons
- No public prices, so every plan requires a sales request.
- AI analysis and multi-user access are limited to the Enterprise plan.
- The pages reviewed do not describe security or compliance certifications.
- Independent reviews on G2-type sites are almost nonexistent.
- Lower plans get only email support, with 48 to 72 hour response times.
