Overview
CloudSigma started in 2009 as a public cloud provider. Its servers are sized by the resource, so customers choose CPU, RAM and storage independently and get full root access. It has since repositioned as a sovereign cloud platform that service providers resell under their own brand. Telcos, managed service providers, datacenter operators and distributors get a branded portal, set their own end-user prices and keep the customer relationship. CloudSigma runs the platform and billing engine. The stack covers KVM and VMware compute, VPC networking, ARM options, and GPU compute with passthrough, vGPU and MIG. Storage includes block, object and backup services with snapshots. A newer Intelligence as a Service layer exposes more than 40 AI models through one OpenAI-compatible API. CloudSigma says it runs in over 40 regions across more than 35 countries with in-country data residency. It lists ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS certifications. Pricing is utility-style and metered per second in five-minute billing segments. Providers pay per-unit wholesale rates on a revenue-share model, with no platform licence fees or minimum commitments. The API documents subscription prices and higher burst prices, plus discounts for commitments of 3 months to 3 years. The main limitation for buyers is that no list prices are published, so rates come from a pricing call. Its public review base is also small and largely dated compared with DigitalOcean, OVHcloud or the hyperscalers. Automation runs through a REST API, Terraform and Ansible.

Who CloudSigma is best for
Good fit
The platform offers configurable IaaS with root access, API automation and Terraform support.
Less suited
It is API-first with Terraform and Ansible support and resources that can be sized freely.
It suits sovereign data residency and certification needs, though it has less enterprise proof than the hyperscalers.
CloudSigma lists government IT among the users of its sovereign, in-country cloud.
There are no public prices, and sales now centre on partners and resellers.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- CPU, RAM and storage are sized independently rather than in fixed instance types.
- Per-second metering in five-minute billing segments avoids paying for idle hourly blocks.
- A wide certification list covers ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.
- The white-label model lets telcos and MSPs launch branded cloud services on revenue share, with no licence fees.
- Terraform, Ansible and a REST API with pricing and billing endpoints support automation.
Cons
- No public list prices, so costs require a pricing call.
- Burst usage is charged at higher rates than subscription capacity, which makes bills harder to predict.
- The public review footprint is small, and many reviews are years old.
- The network uptime guarantee does not cover applications, per RFP.wiki.
- Some users report friction during setup and support in edge cases.
